And the Babymoon Winner Is???

We're going to the Dominican Republic. We're staying at the Moon Palace in Punta Cana. It's a brand new resort that just opened in January. We've stayed at the Adventura Spa Palace in Mexico and had a great time and wonderful experience so we're going to give this place a try! We're also stoked b/c we get to speak Spanish!!! We've never been to the DR so we're really excited!! Another stamp in our passport! www.palaceresorts.com

A Babymoon.

Will and I are going on a vacation in May to relax and enjoy some time together AND to pick out a name for our little boy! Will he be a Jr? Maybe have an unusual name like Pilot Inspektor (yes, I did mean to spell it incorrect)? Be named after someone in the family? We will let you all know after May 11Th(that's when we get back from our trip). We don't know where we're going yet, but I'm looking into something warm, tropical and a not too far away(short flight). Any suggestions? Don't worry, Audrey will be having a lovely time with the grandparents.

We have a little star.

Audrey had her Easter pictures made the other day. I got a call from the photographer on Friday telling me that they would be using Audrey's pictures on their web page. The above is a picture of the web page. They have since changed their pictures and my sister Jessica took this picture with her phone!

We found out on Saturday the 21st that we're having a little boy. We're excited!!! Time to buy blue! Here's one of the 1st pictures of him. We can't tell who he looks like yet. We've started teaching Audrey how to say brother.

Finding out Saturday.

We're finding out on Saturday if we'll be having a little girl or little boy. We've been asked by a lot of people what sex we'd prefer and all we really want is a healthy baby. I'm too much of a planner not to find out what we're having. Once we find out the sex, then on to picking out a name! FUN!!!

What does Audrey say/do?

Her very first word was Dada, then came no, mama, ball, Elmo(pronounced Melmo), thank you(pronounced tank tu), bye bye, papa, Jessica(pronounced Je-Ca), Grandmama, necklace, go, nose, pee pee(hehehe). We're working on Grammy, Laura, Mandy, and many others. She knows when asked where her dada is, where her piggies/toes are, where her ears, nose, head, and belly button are. She also likes finding your belly button too. She can pick Elmo out in anything(he's her favorite at the moment and a close 2nd are her teddy bears). If you ask her how old she is she'll hold up 1 finger(she's been doing this since her 1st bday). She'll blow you kisses(with sound effects) and give you kisses if you ask. If you ask her where the baby is or where Audrey is, she'll point to herself(she's been doing this awhile too). She points to her Aunt Jessica's picture and says Jessica. She knows what the word shower means and would probably grow gills if she could. She LOVES to be read to and would sit there all day if she could. She knows what cheerios are. She knows her puppy Sunni. She's been signing hungry, lights, fan, please, milk, thank you, and more for awhile. Her current favorite song is the "Itsy Bitsy Spider" and will clap after it's over. She also claps when she's finished eating(this let's us know she's ready to get down). We know Audrey is ready for bed when we lay her blanket on the floor and she goes over to it, lays on top of it and starts sucking her thumb, this means, "It's bedtime dada, please put me in my bed." Also, Will has taught her to say bye after you put her in her crib, it's too funny ! I have the morning routine and Will has the evening routine. She's so much fun and each day we look forward to laughing and playing with our wonderful gift from God!

My Favorite Chore.

As soon as Will opens the dishwasher, Audrey can be seen/heard running through the apartment toward the dishwasher. She helps her dada unload the silverware. Here are a couple of pictures.
