Audrey
From time to time I like to update you on what our little girl is saying/doing. She slept in her big girl bed for the first time yesterday for nap and then last night(she fell out 1 time). She's counting all the way to 20, she sings the ABC song, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Jesus Loves Me, Deep and Wide, Old McDonald, she can recognize Presidents Washington, Reagan, Clinton, both Bushes, and Obama on flash cards, she's starting to potty train(we have big girl under pants now) and she knows all her shapes and colors. Funny phrases she says, "Oh gosh!", "Ready, set, go!", "One more time!", "On your mark, get set, go!" and many more funny phrases. She's pure joy!

Audrey and Beau
Yes, she colored her face!

We're taking Audrey to Elmo Live in November. She doesn't know it yet but I'm super excited to see her face when she sees Elmo on stage.

Oh and he's grown OUT of the 0-3 mths clothes, he can wear some 3 mth clothes and 3-6 mths fit great! He LOVES to eat, but he's not fat, he's solid and LONG.

Beau

He'll be 4 weeks old tomorrow! Hard to believe, but time is flying by. His daily schedule goes a little something like this-up every 3 hours(sometimes every 2 hours) to eat 4 ounces(mixture of formula and breast milk). We had to do a combo b/c I'm not making enough to feed the little guy(he's eating twice the amount that Audrey was eating at this time)!! He eat, sleeps, and pottys. He's starting to smile. He watches Audrey when she's around. He LOVES to be held, thanks to Jessica(she spoiled him). He's grown out of his newborn clothes already and some of the 0-3 month clothes are no longer fitting him.
Audrey spells her name!
We were driving to "school" this morning when Audrey spelled her name without looking at the alphabet!!! I know what Tim is thinking, "It's cause she's a Hartsell!" and we think so too, but mixed with Plog, Gregg, and Hunsucker! You may have to turn your volume up. I'll publish the audio when we work out the bugs!

Audrey's Art
When Beau was born, Debra and Richard were here keeping Audrey. While Debra was in the shower, Audrey drew on the wall, but she was caught before she did any "real" damage(if you click on the top photo, you can see blue crayon too, this was her art attempt with Debra and Richarad). Debra and Richard felt bad about her writing on the wall. Well, I hope this makes you two feel better because look what she did on her mamma's watch while I was changing Beau, she was beautifying the apartment with her brown crayon. The irony of it all is we're moving starting Sept 1st...hope we can get our deposit back! :)

What's Up?
We are in the process of moving! We're going to start renting a house and get out of this apartment! With that being said, our house has not sold in W. Cola, but Debra and Richard have made a great connection with a friend of a friend who will hopefully help us to either sell our house or put it on the rental market.
Audrey is growing like a little weed. She's working on numbers 11-20. She can recognize her alphabet, she can spell her name(if you write the letters for her), she can recognize her shapes(circle, square, rectangle, triangle, diamond, star, octagon, heart and crescent- still working on pentagon and semi-circle), she knows her colors (we're working on magenta and turquoise). We're still working on poddy training and haven't hit it hard core due to the addition of Beau and right now she's in a classroom without a bathroom. She's going to be moving up to a different classroom Aug 17th and we'll be hitting poddy training hard core then with hopes of having her trained before she's 2.
Beau has been eating like there is no tomorrow. At his 3 day doctor visit, he weighed in at 8 pounds 4 ounces all from being breast fed! The dr commented and said, "Wow, you don't have to come back for the 2 week visit since he's gained his weight back plus some." We have started supplementing with some formula because I cannot keep up with his demand! He spends his days eating, sleeping, rocking in his rocker, bouncing in the bouncy or being held. He just likes to chill. So far, he's only fussy when he's hungry or has a dirty diaper.
Will is gearing up for another business trip, this time to Augusta, Maine.
I am just chilling out at home taking care of Beau and enjoying being a stay at home mom for 12 weeks. Together we are adjusting as parents of 2 children under 2. Thankfully, so far so good.
We're thankful for our family and friends who came to visit and kept Audrey while we were in the hospital and who are visiting/staying with us over the next couple of weeks, we couldn't have done this without your love and support!
